We'll start our week with a few days of cold weather. This week our students will
be taking the district Curriculum Based Assessments in Reading, Math, Science, and
Writing starting Monday and finishing on Thursday. Please see the note from Ms. Cini
that was sent in Thursday's folder for more information. The students will begin each
day with an assessment in one subject area. They are timed assessments that will allow
us to teach a core lesson in the afternoon. We are still in need of cereal, cracker
or any boxes of that size for each student's biography project. Thank you for those
that we have received and for those that will arrive early this week. Our class will visit the
Holiday Shoppe on Monday at 10:00, but if students bring additional money to shop, they
will be able to go during recess daily. Tuesday our choir will perform at the PTA meeting
at 6:30. We hope you can make it! A note went home Monday about our Winter
celebration which will be held in the classroom at 1:45 on Thursday, December 20th.
