We'll finish the month of April with a fundraiser by attending Jumpoline from
5:00 - 7:00 on Tuesday. All students, staff, and parents are invited. The cost i
is $7.00 and each participant must sign a waiver. The waivers can be found online
and will also be available at Jumpoline. The month of May will be very busy for all
of us. We have field day, a talent show, three field trips and a fun filled curriculum.
This Wednesday, we have early release at 12:45. On Friday, our field day will start
at 12:00 near the gym. Please send your child with a bottle of water and sunscreen.
The following Tuesday on May 7th, we will go to the Innerspace Caverns in Georgetown.
Please check the Important Dates section for the other events during this month.
Parent conference request notices will be sent home this week. Please read the
cover letter carefully and if a conference is requested, Ms. Hatfield and I will try to
schedule it together so we can discuss your child's academic growth in all content
areas, strengths and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
For our Field day this Friday and all Field trips this month we would appreciate
your child wearing his/ her class shirt. As we walk as a grade level, it will assist
us in keeping our classes together.
