Welcome fourth grade scholars and parents! I'm looking forward to an exciting, engaging, and fun school year. In fourth grade this year, you will have two teachers. I will be teaching Reading and Writing and
Ms. Hatfield will be teaching Math and Science. Each of us will teach Social Studies to our homeroom class. We are very eager and excited to be your teachers! We have enjoyed working together these last few years and share the same goals and expectations for our students. As a team with our students and parents this year, we look forward in achieving academic and social success for our fourth graders.
During our first day of school we will see many friends and make some new ones. We'll tour the school, learn our school and classroom expectations, and meet some of the staff you will be in contact with daily. Throughout the next two weeks, we will be engaged in various lessons in all content areas. We will read various fictional selections, write, study place value, geography, and safety in Science.
We're going to have a great year!
