This week we will be finishing our unit of Poetry in language arts. Our students have
been working diligently writing several poems using sensory imagery, similes, and
metaphors. We are very excited to invite you to our Poetry Slam on Friday in our
classroom. Our morning class will share a poem with you at 8:30 a.m. While our
afternoon class will present their poems to their guests at 1:30 p.m. We hope you
can make it! In science our students will learn about force and in social studies they
will continue to learn about colonies in Texas. During math class,multiplication two
digits by one digit will be taught. The students will learn various ways to solve these
multiplication problems.
This week on Tuesday at 6:30, there will be a PTA meeting in the cafeteria. On Wednesday
due to your support with our school fundraiser, our students will attend the Reptile show.
They can hardly wait! Our fourth grade team would like to order class T-shirts
for our students to wear when we go on field trips this year. A note will be sent home
tomorrow with details.
