Everyone did well this week getting back on a regular schedule after Spring Break.
I hope everyone had a restful and fun break. During the first week in April, our
students will take the STAAR writing assessment on April 2nd and April 3rd. Each
day they will answer revising and editing questions regarding selections they have read,
and write a composition. It is important that each student sleeps well, and eats a good
breakfast each day. Our campus will be closed for visitors during all STAAR
assessment days.
This week in Language Arts, we will continue to revise and edit selections read and
revisit previous compositions we have written. Students will be assigned homework
in revising and editing, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week.
Our 3rd nine weeks Award Assembly is on Tuesday at 8:45a.m. in the cafeteria.
We hope to see you there!
We are still in need of donations for our fourth grade cooking/ baking basket to be
auctioned off during our Spring Festival. Our fourth grade booth is still in need of
color hair spray. If you are able to donate any of these items, please send them
with your student. A note also went home for volunteers to assist us in working
our color hair spray booth during the Spring Festival. Any donations of items
or your time is truly appreciated.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. Have a wonderful
week and safe holiday weekend!
Becky Gloria
