We had a great time at the Inner Space Caverns this past week! This week we'll look
forward to our field trip to San Antonio. We'll start off visiting the Institute of Texas
Cultures and end our trip at the Alamo before we head back to Austin. Remember to
drop off your child at approximately 6:35 a.m. The buses will leave WBE approximately
at 7:00 a.m. We should return at 5:00 p.m. Please pick up your child by the portables
promptly. Remember to pick up your child at 5:00 p.m. at school.and pick them upYour
child will need a disposable sack lunch and a juice box or plastic bottled water to drink.
We will provide an afternoon snack and juice during our trip back to Austin.
Tuesday, after our PTA meeting, we will have another Math Night at school. Various
games and activities will be available for students. We hope you can bring your child.
Book Fair will also begin this week.
We wil begin a new novel this week in reading, Island of the Blue Dolphins. Students
will read and analyze this historical fiction for the next two weeks. The last week of
school, students will apply and demonstrate their knowledge of the novel by
participating in multiple intelligence engagements.
