Our field trip to San Antonio was a success! Our students were outstanding
on the bus, many followed all expectations at the museum and the Alamo.
They represented WBE proudly! We enjoyed the presentations and looking
at the artifacts at the museum and visiting the Alamo. Thank you to the
parents that attended. I appreciate your time and the help you provided.
Only two busy weeks left! This year has gone extremely fast! This
week we have two field trips. On Tuesday, the 21st, we will attend
the Symphony. We ask that students dress in their Sunday best. They
may bring clothes to change afterwards if necessary. On Wednesday,
the 22nd, we will participate in a walking field trip to Mills Pond.
Students will look for organisms, plants, and make connections to
the knowledge they have learned in science. We will leave at 8:30 and
should arrive back on campus by 10:30.
These last two weeks our students will be busy working on projects in
Math, Reading, and Writing. If a student has been responsible in
completing all their assignments, tests, and make up work, in Reading
and Writing, they will not have any homework in these subjects.
Remember May 30th is our award ceremony at 9:00 a.m. On Friday,
the 31st we will have our "End of Year Breakfast Party." A note
will be sent this week in Thursday's folder.
