I had a great first week getting to know your children! We participated in
community building engagements with each other and also with my other
class, Mrs. Ripley's homeroom. I'm eagerly looking forward to a wonderful
school year! This week we will have our Parent Orientation Night on
Wednesday in the Library at 6:00pm. We will share information about our fourth
grade curriculum with you. We hope you can attend. On Tuesday, our first reading
log is due. That should be taped into your child's agenda with a signature for
each day he/she has read.
Thank you for returning all the forms that were sent last week. For those that
I am still missing, I will send a note stating the ones I still need on Tuesday.
The Student Health Form- Emergency Contact (pink card) and the Student Code
of Conduct form, the last page in the booklet sent last week are very important.
The pink card goes directly to our nurse in case of any emergency and the other
is to grant permission for our students to use google apps, the internet for research,
various other class assignments and media permission forms.
I appreciate your support and helping make our first week fantastic.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Have a wonderful week!
Becky Gloria
