conferences for this coming week as well. If you have not scheduled your conference yet,
please contact me so we can schedule it as soon as possible. If the times and days weren't
convenient for you on the letter sent two weeks ago, please contact me to find a time that
works for you. It is very important for parents and students to meet with me at this time.
We will try to order our class T-shirts by the end of this week. If you have not returned
the order form, please send it this week with your child's shirt size. It might be a good
idea to order a size that you think will fit them in late spring. We will use this T-shirt on
all our field trips and some school activities.
In Language Arts this week, we will continue to read and analyze informational text.
During writing we will revise and edit our expository composition drafts that we
wrote this past week. Tomorrow our students will turn in their Weekly Reading log
with one summary from one of their nightly reading selections. This allows them to
get credit for Week One of our "Pizza Hut Book It " program. Their new
Weekly Reading Log will be given to them tomorrow and due next Monday with
a summary for "Week Two".
